Avril has over 20+ years’ experience in business strategy, international marketing and distribution, market research and entrepreneurship. She has expertise in industries including Agriculture, Education, and Market Research.
Her roles have been diverse, having been the General Manager of Longerenong College overseeing courses delivered, farm and livestock, 150 room accommodation and DATA Farm. She led strategy and marketing within a large agricultural machinery company including; acquisitions, business development, sales and marketing strategy, and precision agriculture adoption throughout the customer base. Prior to that, she opened and operated the Australian office of a Canadian market research company for a decade with a focus on strong client relationships, innovative problem solving and research design. She has been awarded a Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Administration and is a Graduate of the Australian Insititute of Company Directors. She has contributed to her regional communities by sitting on the Edenhope District Memorial Hospital Board, and now the Grampians Health Board.
