Dr Neville Crossman have over 20 years of experience working at the interface of research and policy for managing land, water and biodiversity in agricultural systems. He has led a long list of projects and people to improve policy decisions and investments in land and water in Australia and internationally. His career has spanned the research, policy and private sectors, including 11 years as a research scientist at CSIRO and most recently as Lead Economist and Director (Economic Sciences) at the Murray-Darling Basin Authority.

He has had numerous international advisory roles (United Nations, European Union, World Bank, WWF) contributing expertise on the science-policy of land and water systems.

He has published over 60 papers in high-impact international refereed journals with over 12,000 career citations, more than 40 papers at international conferences and had editorial roles on several high impact international journals.
