Experience
As Chief Executive of the Mallee Regional Innovation Centre, Rebecca Wells leads the activities of the Centre in the focal areas of water, horticulture, energy and the environment, all within the Mildura Rural City Council and Swan Hill Council regions.
Born in the region and raised in Merbein on a vineyard, Rebecca has immersed herself in professional and community networks in the Mallee region, holding a range of leadership and advocacy roles, including Chair of Merbein and District Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank (2014 - 2019), Director Merbein and District Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank (2010 to current).
Ms Wells has significant experience in working with regional communities in the agriculture, communications and tertiary education space.
